Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ShotForge (“the Service”), a web-based studio for framing, localizing, and exporting mobile application store screenshots. By registering an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Accounts & Workspace Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities performed under your account. You must provide accurate registration details and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your workspace.
3. Customer Content Ownership
You retain 100% ownership of all raw mobile captures, background images, custom font files, captions, translations, and exported PNG/JPG archives you create or upload in ShotForge (“Customer Content”).
You grant ShotForge a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license solely to store, render, and process your Customer Content as required to deliver the Service to your account. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights or licenses for any custom fonts or imagery you upload.
4. Plans, Billing & Cancellations
ShotForge offers a Free tier and a monthly Plus subscription. When paid billing is enabled on the platform, Plus subscriptions renew monthly via Stripe until cancelled.
- Two-click cancellation: You may cancel your Plus subscription at any time from Account → Billing. Your workspace retains Plus features until the end of the current paid period, after which your existing apps and screens remain intact under Free plan edit limits.
- 24-hour initial refund policy: First-time Plus subscribers may request a full refund within 24 hours of their initial subscription charge by emailing support.
- Zero export watermarks: Exported screenshots generated on both Free and Plus plans are licensed for unrestricted commercial use on App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and marketing channels without watermarks.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload malicious binaries, attempt to bypass authentication or storage isolation boundaries, scrape or overload server endpoints, or use the Service to generate unlawful, deceptive, or infringing store listings.
6. Store Specifications & Trademarks
ShotForge provides original procedural and vector device frames calibrated to published store pixel specifications. Apple, App Store, iPhone, iPad, Android, Pixel, Galaxy, and Google Play are trademarks of their respective owners. ShotForge is an independent software product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc., Google LLC, or Samsung Electronics.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While ShotForge validates dimensions against published store guidelines, final app review approval remains at the sole discretion of Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShotForge’s aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to ShotForge in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
